"Anthophile"... What's that?

Woman. Minority. Veteran. Scientist. Tech Support. Farmer.

NYC is a strange place to dream of a future on a farm, but after a school field trip to Green Meadows Farm, I knew farm livin' was the life for me (cue the Green Acres theme song). Even in the middle of cities, my family always found a way to transform postage-stamp sized yards into lush, green sanctuaries. It's in my blood.

Fast forward to 2022, after a stint in the military, then hiding in hospital basements as Clinical Laboratory Scientist followed by a decade in Big Tech, I finally got around to fulfilling that childhood dream. 5 acres of freedom, hidden in the Pisgah National Forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

...And thus, Anthophile was born. The term comes from two Greek words: anthos (flower) and phile (love). Our goal is to create an ecosystem where all anthophiles- birds, bees, people- come together to appreciate the beauty of flowers. We're dedicated to farming regeneratively to nourish the soil, zero synthetic sprays or inputs, responsible use of plastics and delivering the highest quality products to our customers.

TL:DR- I love flowers.
